About Dr. Kamal Kabakibou

Dr. Kamal Chaban Kabakibou, M.D., was born in January 1964, beginning a journey that would culminate in a distinguished medical career across multiple continents. He started his medical education at the University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine, earning his first medical degree in 1987. 

Driven by a relentless passion to further his expertise in anesthesiology and pain management, Dr. Kabakibou decided to relocate to the United States for additional specialized training.

From 1991 to 1994, Dr. Kabakibou received comprehensive residency training in Internal Medicine at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, gaining valuable clinical experience and a holistic understanding of patient care. He further refined his expertise by completing a specialized residency in Anesthesiology at the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine from 1994 through 1997.

Dr. Kabakibou’s quest for perfection and commitment to excellence led him to further advance his skills after completing another fellowship in Pain Medicine at Baylor College Medicine from 1997 through 1998. This specialized training has proved instrumental in shaping his unique approach to pain management, which still defines his clinical practice today.
